Five Videos, Fixed in Hours: Crackling Audio on an Umbraco Series
A microphone setup problem left five videos of Paul Seal's Umbraco series too noisy to follow. All five were fixed and re-rendered within hours.

For Paul Seal from codeshare.co.uk, a crackling audio issue threatened the release schedule of his new YouTube series on the then-latest version of Umbraco. Five videos were affected and six were still to record. The noise was bad enough that viewers could not make out what he was saying.
The fault was in the recording rather than the edit. The microphone had not been fully inserted, it had not been fully set up, and it was sitting further away from Paul than it needed to be.
We worked through each affected video in turn and delivered fixed versions of all five, re-rendered and ready to upload to YouTube, within hours of Paul getting in touch. The processed audio was a good deal clearer, and his viewers could follow what he was saying.
